Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) appoints Peter Leslie as Chief Underwriting Officer UK and Massimo Orsini as GC&C Global Head of Aviation

Effective January 1st, Generali GC&C has appointed Peter Leslie as Chief Underwriting Officer UK and Massimo Orsini as Global Head of Aviation.

With 28 years in the London Market, Peter most recently was at Tokio Marine Kiln where he was Chief Underwriting Officer for TMKI looking after Corporate & Commercial business across their UK & European offices. Prior to that he was Head of Property Lines at Zurich Global Corporate including, Marine, Energy and Specie business and has held various other Underwriting roles across the Company and Lloyd's London Market.

Massimo has been with Generali for 26 years. He started his career in Aviation Insurance at the Head Office in Trieste. He relocated to the UK in 1999 where he held the positions as UK Head of Aviation, Space and Marine. In 2006 Massimo was appointed Chief Underwriting Officer for Generali Global Risk and became CUO of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial UK in 2014. Massimo, who holds a degree in Law and a civil pilot license, has served in the Technical Study Group of the International Union of Aviation Insurers (IUAI) and is currently a member of the Technical Committee of La Reunion Aerienne & Spatiale.
