Generali Global Corporate & Commercial appoints Kelvin Chan as new Head of Marine Underwriting GC&C Asia

Hong Kong – Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) announces the strengthening of its underwriting capabilities with the promotion of Kelvin Chan as Head of Marine Underwriting GC&C Asia.

Effective from April 1^st, Kelvin Chan has been promoted new Head of Marine Underwriting GC&C Asia and he is now responsible for leading the Marine business across the regional market. He succeeds Alvin Chan, who recently retired from the company. Kelvin reports directly to the Head of GC&C Asia Axel Roesner. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Kelvin joined Generali in 2006 and in 2013 he joined the Global Corporate & Commercial division as Marine Senior Manager. Prior to joining Generali, Kelvin was Marine Senior Manager at AIG. He holds a Diploma from the Australian Insurance Institute (AII).
