Generali Global Corporate & Commercial Announces Leadership Transition in Client & Broker Relationship Management

Milan - Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) today announces that Nuno Antunes will join GC&C on April 20, in the context of a planned leadership transition within its Client & Broker Relationship Management (C&BRM) function. On July 1, Nuno Antunes will succeed Filippo Cinelli, currently Head of Client & Broker Relationship Management, who will retire on June 30 after more than a decade at the helm of the function and a distinguished career with GC&C.

In his new role, Nuno Antunes will lead GC&C’s global Client & Broker Relationship Management strategy, with a mandate to further deepen relationships with clients and brokers worldwide and to advance Distribution Excellence as a core driver of the Group’s competitive strength. The role is pivotal to the execution of GC&C’s Next Level Plan 2025–27, which places customer centricity, trusted partnerships and sustainable, profitable growth at the heart of its strategy.

Nuno Antunes will focus on unlocking value across the client and broker ecosystem by leveraging GC&C’s extensive global footprint and strong local market expertise. His priorities will include strengthening collaboration with both established and emerging broker networks, enhancing the client experience across multinational programs, and supporting GC&C’s strategic growth ambitions across key markets and segments.

With more than 20 years of international experience in the insurance sector, Nuno Antunes brings a strong track record in client strategy, multinational solutions and commercial transformation. Before joining GC&C, he held senior leadership roles at global insurance groups, with responsibilities spanning Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, where he successfully drove growth and innovation across diverse markets.
