GC&C Iberia & LatAm Region is established within Generali Global Corporate & Commercial

As from October 16^th 2018, within Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, headed by the CEO Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, Paolo Ribotta, the following appointments and changes are made:

• The GC&C Iberia & LatAm Region is established and is headed by Carlos Gómez, in charge of ensuring the fulfilment of the Group Strategy in the GC&C Segment in the region. The region is composed by: Spain and Portugal (Iberia) and all the Latin-American countries.

The region is further organized into the following structures:

• Head of Global Brokers LatAm, headed by Nery Silva, in charge of ensuring the achievement of GC&C sales and business, developing and managing the relationship with Global Brokers in all the Latin-American countries. Nery is also in charge of ensuring the fulfillment of the GC&C Strategy in all the Latin-American countries but not Brazil.
• Head of GC&C Brazil, headed by Werner Stettler, in charge of ensuring the fulfilment of the GC&C Strategy in Brazil.
• Head of Underwriting, headed by Angel Arranz, in charge of ensuring the technical profitability of the region GC&C portfolio through the deployment of the underwriting strategy and the development of the loss prevention and risk engineering activities.
• Head of Clients & Broker Management, headed by José María Conde-Salazar, in charge of ensuring the achievement of region GC&C sales and business targets, developing and managing the relationship with clients and distributors networks.
• Head of Operations & IT, headed by José Maria Romero de Tejada, in charge of ensuring the region operational effectiveness and efficiency and of managing the customers and servicing platforms within GC&C scope.
• Head of Claims, headed by Pedro Ruano, in charge of steering the region claims handling activity and ensuring a proper claims governance.
• Head of Planning & Control, headed by Angel de Paz, in charge of supporting the steering of the GC&C business by managing the region planning and control model.
• In addition, the GC&C business in Argentina is under the responsibility of José Luis Barbone as Head of GC&C Argentina and the GC&C business in Portugal is under the responsibility of Fernando Duarte as Head of GC&C Portugal (effective from 02/01/2019). Within the framework of GC&C responsibility, the Head of GC&C Argentina and the Head of GC&C Portugal are reporting to the Head of GC&C Iberia & LatAm, Carlos Gómez Pascual.
